What Does The Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster Offer?
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.
Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster offers that and more. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to become productive, caring, responsible adults. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster sites are a safe place to learn and grow -- all while having fun. They are truly The Positive Place For Kids.

A Safe Place for Kids
Every day boys and girls in Lancaster and Columbia flash their membership cards to come into a safe haven where they are accepted for who they are, encouraged to do their best, and leave knowing they are valued and understood. Dedicated Youth Facility
The Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster is a place - an actual neighborhood-based building -- designed solely for youth programs and activities. Learn more about our four neighborhood facilties.
Open Every Weekday
The Club is open every weekday, after school and during the summer, when kids have free time and need positive, productive outlets. The Clubhouses are open to all members Monday through Friday after school until 7 to 9 p.m. (depending on the age of the member). During the summer the Clubhouses are also open 1 p.m. until 7 to 9 p.m. (depending on the age of the member).
 Professional Staff
Every Club has full-time, trained youth development professionals, providing positive role models and mentors. Volunteers also provide key supplementary support. Meet our staff members.
Available/Affordable to All Youth
Clubs reach out to kids who cannot afford, or may lack access to, other community programs. How muuch does it cost?
