Latonya Broadnax
My name is Latonya Broadnax, and I'm 24 years old. I was a member of the Club for 14 years
When I think of the Club, I remember all the activities, talent shows, bowling, girls group, drill team.
Mr. Bruce, he was funny; All the staff set me straight and allowed me to take leadership with activities within the club which gave me the drive to lead and be a leader to others.
My favorite memory of activities or events that I participated in at the Club include Scotland, Camp/Rangerette Camp.
I would not be where I am today without The Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster. The club made me a loving caring person. I was at the club more than I was at home.
The Boys & Girls Club is a nice place for kids to go where they are respected and taught life skills, get education help, and be fed a hot meal. It is a place where every kid should go!
