The Roberto Clemente Field is a fun and safe place for kids to be active and enjoy outdoor recreation in the Southeast neighborhood. Since its completion in the fall of 2018, the Roberto Clemente Field has been an invaluable addition to our community, local organizations and the Club that promotes wellness, leadership and skill-building.

At the Roberto Clemente Field, our members form core memories by playing sports and games, making friends and following the lead of positive role models.

Field Reservations

STEP 1: To reserve the field, the “Activity/Event Facilitator” (e.g. Head Coach or Gym Teacher – the person who will be physically present for the activity/event) must fill out the Roberto Clemente Field Application electronically on DocuSign.

STEP 2: Your organization’s “Responsible Party” (e.g., CEO or Principal) must also sign the field application AND fill out the Roberto Clemente Field Annual Agreement (every school year, July 1-June 30).

STEP 3: New users are required to email a Certificate of Insurance (see example with required limits below) and Tax Exempt Form (if applicable) to Ralph Clark at RClark@bgclanc.org.

STEP 4: Field users will be required to go through a 15-minute in-person Field Orientation with BGCL staff to review unlocking procedures and field terms of use.  Set this up prior to your event by emailing Phoebe Radcliffe at PRadcliffe@bgclanc.org.

This program allows your company to engage intentionally during a Club month, either by investing in an existing program or volunteering your time at the Clubhouse with children and teens.
